Syfy’s new show where humans have colonized the solar system has received a lot of positive buzz. No doubt some of the praise should be shared with Aussie studio Breeder who held their own with this awesome opener.
Channel One is an uncommon country-wide network in a state as large as Russia, thus the idents are broadly appealing. There’s a lot of interpretation for one so inclined, not least of all is the reference to Sydenham’s Crystal Palace which inspired Chernyshevsky’s utopian vision in his 1863 novel “What is to be Done?”
I’m not a “true crime” fan, too grisly for me, but this promo features a fantastic device for a show about female killers; a heart of ice. Not to mention the title of the show “Slay Belles” deserves its own award.
These IDs didn’t see air, and I think I can see why; they would be politically difficult to green-light. That being said, they are keenly astute and super fun. My fave: Kanye!
