Mazda High Voltage

Cheeky chappie Johnny Vaughan was hired to test Mazda’s new safety feature: the lane departure warning. In an exaggerated and hilarious twist, he was electrocuted every time he strayed off the course. Not only did I enjoy seeing the omnipresent smirk wiped off Johnny’s face (don’t get me wrong, I’ve been a fan since his Big Breakfast years) but the edit told the story so well, that minimal supporting graphics were needed. Every scene had a nod, a click, a gesture, a composition that added to the story.
